ARCH-P Fiduciary assists healthcare emergency management, emergency preparedness, prepaid programs and more to all coalitions statewide.

Our Mission

The mission of the ARCH-P Healthcare Preparedness Coalitions for New Mexico to build and maintain prepared healthcare systems, advance the development and maturation of healthcare coalitions (HCC), strengthen regional coordination, and ensure the healthcare systems can maintain operations and surge to provide acute medical care during all hazards and emergencies in the State of New Mexico.

Our Vision

The ARCH-P Healthcare Preparedness Coalitions for New Mexico will develop and sustain a powerful coalitions of providers, responders, and other healthcare related partners that collaborate together to save lives and improve health outcomes through research, education and response.

Our Goals

  • Support state and regional preparedness planning efforts, through identifying gaps in preparedness and determining specific priorities to fill those gaps.
  • Develop plans for building and sustaining health care preparedness capabilities and working to operationalize those plans.
  • Establish a more resilient and better-prepared healthcare community through regional healthcare coalitions to disasters and emergencies.

History of the Arch-P

  • 1999: Albuquerque named as one of the 50 cities to the MMRS (Metropolitan Medical Response System) in the nation. The purpose was to ensure Albuquerque medical and healthcare facilities were prepared and had the capabilities to address bioterrorism and chemical warfare tactics.

  • 2007: Healthcare Facilities in New Mexico began receiving federal grant dollars from ASPR Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP).

  • 2008: MMRS moved to Albuquerque Office of Emergency Management and regular healthcare partner meetings, planning, trainings, and exercising conducted.

  • 2009: MMRS utilized to help facilitate the response to H1N1 and provide a coordinated effort.

  • 2012: The Albuquerque Regional Coalition for Healthcare Preparedness (ARCH-P) is formed to continue the efforts of the MMRS and address future ambitions of ASPR HPP and the State of New Mexico.

  • 2016: ARCH-P filed and became a 501c3
